SG Cancer is a non-profit organization dedicated to saving lives by providing support in the form of patient services, early detection, treatment and education.

The SG Cancer Foundation (SG Cancer) was inaugurated in November 2012 as the Sweden Ghana Cancer Foundation. Following the inauguration, several activities were executed in Ghana to raise awareness on the scourge of cancer, and its rising incidence in the world, including in Ghana.

The Foundation, following a break in activities from mid-2013 to 2015, has been re-organized, and re-positioned to make a maximum impact in the lives of cancer patients and survivors and their families. As part of this re-positioning, the Foundation’s name has been changed to SG Cancer Foundation, in line with its broader objectives.
