Donation to an individual towards surgery and patient care
In May 2022, SG Cancer received a request for support for a young man, aged 22 years, who was seriously ill and required surgery, without which survival was in question. Total cost for surgery, patient care, medication was at the time indicated at over GHS100,000. SG Cancer made the decision to support the individual with a financial donation towards surgery and patient care. The patient underwent surgery successfully and is recovering well.
